Microsoft and its hardware partner trying to fulfill the gapping between home computer and television during this season holidays by release of “media extenders”.
These TV set-top boxes will connect wirelessly to computers running the Home Premium or Ultimate flavors of Windows Vista and enable users to use their TV sets to watch movies, TV shows and Internet video that is stored on their computers.
Microsoft has planned to announce the prices and more details about the extenders Thursday at the DigitalLife trade show in New York. Cisco, D-Link and Niveus are in the first row who will sell media extenders initially. As Cisco Systems Inc.’s Linksy’s division, launching the chipset extenders just worth only $300.

Samsung and Armani has just signed on MoU, according to which fashion designer giant Armani will design phone that Samsung will produce. The product of this joint venture named as “Armani-Samsung luxury mobile phones”. This designer phone will hit the Giorgio Armani Stores and leading phone stores in 2008.
Armani-Samsung luxury mobile phones is featured with tri band 900/1800/1900 GSM, 3 megapixel camera, 2.6-inch 262K color QVGA touchscreen LCD, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support, microSD expansion, full Internet browser, and support for H.263, AAC/MP3/WMA audio and MPEG-4 video. It’s time to be happy for Apple’s 3G iPod users. Because apple’s iTune store has game available for purchasing and download which work with third generation iPod nano, iPod classic and fifth-generation iPod . Presently only three games- Tetris , Ms. Pac-Man , and Sudoku are available.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs states that - The new iPods would be able to play games at Apple’s “The Beat Goes On” special event held in San Francisco and said that the games would be available in a few weeks.
As above all the three games are all ready available for fifth generation iPods and it’s first time that when these games also make compatible with 3G iPod nanos and new iPod classics.

Intel ready to launch core 2 quad Q6600 processor with a frequency of 2.4 G Hz. Intel’s Skulltrail is chip set based on X38. Skulltrail will support for two CPUs and also SLI. SLI has some extra features as compared to X38.
On skulltrail, SLI capabilities are achieved with an on-board NVIDIA MCP100 switch, without the use of an actual NVIDIA-designed chipset. This is the Intel extreme edition processor. Initially only one model has been launched using Socket J 771 processors. Skulltrail Motherboard equipped with eATX form factor, that’s why a big case will be required. Like intel server offerings Skulltrail will require FB-DIMM memory.

UK’s well known high street retailer ‘ARGOS’ has begun selling Microsoft’s highly-anticipated Halo 3, a week before the official release. According to preplan this was going to hit the market on september26 , as it was its official release date. But Halo 3 hits the market one week before. This unexpected release has made the game forums , online communities and gamers annoying. Many of them vowing to go into “lockdown” between now and September 26 to avoid “spoilers” about the game’s plotline and new features.
Argos’s website has mentioned that anyone who preordered the game will be able to pick it from strore on “Wed 19 September – Thu 20 September,”. In an interesting angle now ARGOS has blamed an administrative error for early release of Halo3. Microsoft has spent millions in the marketing of halo triology and planned to launch with their XBOX edition. Several copies of game now already has been come on internet auction site eBay , having bids nearly £100 mark.

LucasArts has announced that StarWars : The Force Unleashed will hit the market in spring 2008. It will come through Wii home videogame system from Nintendo. It will offer amazing experience of StarWars having the unique chance to live out Jedi fantasies by wielding Wii remote.
The Wii version, in development by Krome Studios, will also add an exclusive duel mode in which players can compete head-to-head with their friends to determine the ultimate Jedi Master.
According to the Jim Ward, the president of LucasArts -”The Wii is a great platform for The Force Unleashed, because the console’s motion-oriented controllers really bring the game to life,”. He also added that “We’ve worked hard to make the Wii version of the game unique in order to truly let you unleash the Force.”
